chicken fajitas
Chicken Fajitas
3 Chicken breasts cut into small strips
4 Bell peppers
1 Large onion
Marinade
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
1 teaspoon salt
Mix all the marinade ingredients together. Marinade the chicken in a bowl or Ziploc bag for at least 2 hours in the fridge. Preferably over night.
After Marinading drain extra liquid and cook in a skillet. Once done, take out. Add bell pepper and onion that are cut into strips. Cook until tender. Then add chicken to the onion and bell peppers. Serve in tortillas with all your favorite garnishments (cheese, sour cream, guacamole etc...) Enjoy!!!
It serves 4 hungry adults.
