powdered milk disaster

We ran out of milk. The powdered milk was brought up from storage so we could have breakfast this morning. After breakfast, the lid was not placed on tight enough. So, while I was tending to baby in his room. George had some fun.....LOTS of fun.

Spreading a few pounds of the powdered milk around the kitchen. And creating a giant dust cloud. My lungs still burn from inhaling so much while sweeping.

You can't really tell in the picture. But he was COVERED in the stuff. He looked like a ghost he was so white from the powder.

Raise your hand if you will be deep cleaning every crack of your kitchen this week!?......oh wait, just me. Dang.

Every family has some great messy stories! What did you, your sibling or child do to require some serious cleanup?
I can't wait to hear everyone's stories. It will hopefully make me feel better...

Doesn't a milk bath give you soft skin? OH MY!

Apparently it works great as a floor wax too. After mopping, the floor is so slippery, we are all slipping around. :)

How about 2 little boys opening the (cold) fireplace and pulling the ashes out so they could climb in (yep) to look up the chimney to see how Santa would fit...all while the mommy was taking a quick shower and they were (?) sleeping for their afternoon nap.....Oy!

I'm afraid I did not have the presence of mind to grab the camera and take pictures though.

When Melanie and Brittanie were little it was five dozen eggs I bought to do my Christmas baking -- I didn't think I was EVER going to get all of them cleaned up! And it was either Katie or Jaimie who spilled a gallon of syrup on the (carpeted) dining room floor. Oy -- that never did come out completely.

Once my children took a VERY large box of Styrofoam packing peanuts and made an "Easter egg" hunt for me. They were so excited about it. It took me days to find all of them.
